The localisation of introduced Azotobacter cells within the mycelium of a modified mycorrhiza (Rhizopogon) capable of nitrogen fixation
- Plant Science letters, 10(4), p.367-372, 1977 .
Cross reaction has been detected between included bodies within the cytoplasm of a modified strain of Rhizopogon sp., and antibodies made against the internal proteins and membranes of Azotobacter vinelandii. The possibility that these bodies represent L-forms of the introduced bacteria is discussed and comparisons are made with previous electron micrographs of the included bodies.
