El trabajo que se presenta en esta tesis es el diseño de una metodología para des/rediferenciación de un cultivo de raíces transformadas de Catharanthus roseus de acuerdo al siguiente esquema general: El objetivo de esto es el establecimiento de un método que permita generar la variabilidad en los cultivos de raíces transformadas, por lo que posibilitaría la selección de variantes sobreproductoras de metabolitos secundarios, pero con la posibilidad de mantener después esa característica estable, o sea, generar un cultivo de raíces con características diferentes al cultivo original de raíces. Se obtuvieron 30 nuevas líneas a partir de una sola línea. Algunas de estas nuevas líneas presentaron diferencias en sus patrones de crecimiento y de acumulación de alcaloides en comparación con la línea original. |
