En este trabajo se analizó el efecto de metacrilatos funcionalizados en las propiedades térmicas de los cementos óseos. Para determinar las temperaturas máximas y tiempos de curado se empleo un molde de teflón de acuerdo a la norma ISO 5833 en los que se llevaron a cabo polimerizaciones a 15, 20, 25 y 30°C. Para determinar calores de reacción se empleo un calorímetro diferencial de barrido (DSC) en modo isotérmico a 15,20,25 y 30° C y en modo dinámico a 2.5, 5, 10 y 20°/min. Los datos arrojados por el DSC fueron utilizados también, para obtener parámetros cinéticos de las reacciones de polimerización. La determinación de monómero residual se llevó al cabo por medio de cromatografía de gases (CG) y resonancia magnética protónica (RMN +H) |
