El chile habanero es fuertemente afectado por factores climáticos y diversas causas que disminuyen su eficiencia productiva en el estado de Yucatán. Con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto del ácido salicílico (AS) sobre la productividad, se asperjaron concentraciones de 10-6 a 10-10 M bajo condiciones de campo. Se realizaron tres aspersiones foliares a los 37, 45 Y 53 días de edad de la planta, al amanecer. Los resultados muestran que hubo diferencias significativas en las variables evaluadas, el mejor tratamiento que incrementó el desarrollo de las plantas fue 10-6 M AS con un 11 y 33 por ciento en la altura y ramas primarias, con respecto al control; mientras que 10-8 M AS aumento en un 16 y 18 por ciento el número de frutos y rendimiento por planta, respectivamente. |
