El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estudiar el efecto del ácido salicílico sobre la productividad y calidad frutos de exportación de tomate saladette (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.). Se estableció un experimento utilizando la varo Tequila, a las que se les asperjo de manera foliar concentraciones de 10-6 o 10-8 M de ácido salicílico bajo condiciones de campo, por la mañana a los 30, 37 Y 44 días de edad. Los resultados mostraron que el ácido salicílico en las concentraciones probadas incrementaron significativamente el rendimiento con 10-6 M se incrementó el rendimiento total en 24 por ciento y 18 por ciento con 10-8 M, con relación al testigo. El tratamiento que produjo una mejor calidad de frutos de exportación fue 10-6 M que incrementó en 30 por ciento respecto al testigo. Para el rendimiento de tamaño de fruto el mejor tratamiento fue 10-6 M que incremento 46 por ciento el rendimiento de frutos medianos con respecto al testigo. |
