Summary, etc. Solanocapsin wird erstmals zu dem bekannten 3P-Acetoxy-16P-hydroxy-Sabis-22.23-nor-cholansaurelacton (Acetyltigogeninlacton, XV)sowie zu (-)-4-Amino-3-methyl-buttersaure abgebaut. Diese Aminosaure wird in R-( +)-Methylbernsteinsaure iibergefiihrt und damit die absolute Konfiguration am C-25 des Solanocapsins ermittelt. Auf Grund dieser und weiterer experimenteller Ergebnisse wird fiir Solanocapsin die Konstitution (22~.23s.25~)-3P-Amino-22.26-imino-16~.23-oxido-5a-cholestan-23-o1 (VI)vorgeschlagen.
