Actualmente la red de datos del CICY (Centro de Investigación Científica de Yucatán) funciona a una velocidad de 10/100 Mbps, se pretende incrementar a una velocidad de 10/100/1000 Mbps, obteniendo mayor rapidez en los envíos de información en los diferentes nodos o puertos que se encuentren conectados a la red de datos y así estar a la vanguardia de la tecnología. Se analizarán a detalle los equipos de telecomunicación que se tienen actualmente funcionando en la red de datos y se determinará los requerimientos necesarios para la obtención de un Gigabit, que serán determinantes para alcanzar dicho objetivo mencionado anteriormente. Se tomará en cuenta todos los equipos con que cuenta la Institución, tanto dispositivos, como tarjetas de red, etc. |
