Incluye también, nombres comunes en español y maya; igualmente se citan usos para muchas de las 2,300 especies que se reportan para esta área geográfica. Finalmente, se incluyen capítulos sobre aspectos diversos, como la historia botánica y vegetación del área, análisis biogeográfico con una reseña sobre endemismo y estado de conservación de la flora. Adicionalmente, incluye 16 páginas de fotografías a color de las plantas y paisajes que caracterizan a la Península de Yucatán. |
