Se realizó la colecta de 188 plantas de 16 especies diferentes que se encontraron dentro y en los alrededores de cultivos de banano en los estados de Tabasco y Chiapas. Todos los individuos mostraban síntomas similares a los inducidos por el hongo Mycosphaerella fíjiensis, causante de la enfermedad conocida como Sigatoka negra en plátanos y bananos. A todas las muestras se les extrajo el ADN total , el cual se evaluó por la técnica de la Reacción en Cadena de la Polimerasa (PCR) para detectar la presencia del hongo patógeno M. fíjiensis utilizando cebadores específicos diseñados para reconocer una región de la secuencia del gen de actina. |
