Resumen: Primary and secondary deuterium isotope effects on 13C NMR chemical shifts for trigonal carbons are reported for twelve allylic alcohols. The secondary DIECCS is used for an accurate measurement of the deuterium labeling of variously substituted allylic alcohols.
