Tema(s): Recursos en línea: Resumen: Two types of model are applied in this paper to model homogeneous and hybrid fabric armour panels. The "rst model uses the direct-step "nite element method to predict the ballistic properties of fabric armour while the second model is analytical. Output from the two models is compared with experimental data and the analytical model is shown to be a useful means for rapidly assessing new armour designs.
