Recursos en línea: Resumen: Anderson, M.C., 1981. The geometry of leaf distribution in some south-eastern Australian forests. Agric. Meteorol., 195--205. Leaf area index (LAI)and leaf angle were measured photographically at 16 places in south-eastern New South Wales, largely in eucalypt forest. These results are compared with some recorded elsewhere in the world. The averaged range of LAI of 1.5--1.9 is systematically lower than that previously found elsewhere. The possible significance of this low LAI as a controlling factor in forest hydrology is discussed.
