Resumen: Foliar physiognomy and climate has been studied using large, regional modern floras from widely, separated areas around the globe. The relationship berween foliar physiognomy and climate has not been studied at the local level. Such an analysis was underaken on a counry-by counry basis using the flora ot the Carolina.
