Sacaca (Croton cajucara Benth.)is a medicinal and aromatic plant of the Amazon. The objective of this work was to characterize morphologically the reproductive organs. The morphologic observations were made on the inflorescences, flowers, fruits, germination and plantules. The inflorescences are racemes of 9,0 cm of length, with 7 feminine flowers in the base e 12 masculine flowers in the medium and terminal portion of the raceme. The feminines flowers are pentamers, monoperianthial, prefloration quincuncial, and hypogynious. Gynoecium three carpel, three ovule, with superior ovary, sericeous and probes concrescids and stigma multifid. The flower masculine two perianth, pentamer, simple, valvar. Polistemone androecium. Every inflorescences and the floral spieces are pubescences. The fruit is dry dehiscence, tricoca, capsule loculicida, with a seed in each carpel, globose form, with dispersion balocorica. Length 7,7 - 9,0 mm and diameter of 7,9 - 9,5 mm. Oblong-sharp seed, bitegmentade, testa black, glabra, brilliant, albuminosa, hilo punctiforme placed in the protuberance of the basal extremity and involved by the carúncula bilobed. Length of 3,76 - 4,67 mm, width of 2,3-3,0 mm and medium thickness of 2,0-2,8 mm. The embryo has a sharp radicula, rudimentary plumula among the thin cotyledons. The germination is epígea criptocotiledonar with radicula of white coloration. After 4 days of the germination, the hypocotil formed the loop and with 7 days it elevated the cotyledons. To the 10 days the cotyledons ovóides and petiolated opened horizontally. To the 15 days it presented a leaf. At the 30 days, two alternating leaves. The plantule to the 51 days, possessed caulicule teretiforme, greenish, pubescence, it presented 4 alternating simple leaves, lanceolate, petiolate and pubescences only in dorsal face and glabra in the ventral, with pubescence just in the main nervura and the hypocotil it measured 9,0 cm of length.
