Thirty-two compounds were identified corresponding to 80.43 per cent of the oil. The major components were ledol (15 per cent), ?-terpinene (7.6 per cent), camphor (6.7 per cent), borneol (6.35 per cent), geraniol (5.2 per cent), ?-cadinol (3.9 per cent)and ?-cyclocitral (3.65 per cent).
