Zornia is a genus of papilionaceous legumes belonging to Tribe Hedysareae, Subtribe Stylosanthinae. The genus is pantropical in distribution. In this monograph, the genus is divided into 2 subgenera, 3 sections, and 75 species. Twenty-four species are described for the first time. These are Zornia sinaloensis, Z. areolata, Z. baliensis, Z. hebecarpa, Z. albiflora, Z. Zollingeri, Z. papuensis, Z. muriculata, Z. venom, Z. intecta, Z. pardina, Z. ramboiana, Z. vestita, Z. megistocarpa, Z. fimbriata, Z. contorta, Z. orbiculata, Z. piurensis, Z. cantoniensis, Z. pallida, Z. nervata, Z. muelleriana, Z. echinata, and Z. curvata.
