In this article, the author explores her expedition to Fiji and Tonga to study palm floras. She offers an overview of both islands and details the goals of the expedition. She discusses her discoveries of Pritchardia pacifica and Pritchardia thustonii in both areas which she collected along with other palm species to be used for her future projects related to the biogeography of Pacific palms.
