Recursos en línea: Resumen: The leaf volatile components of the Ocimum micranthum were obtained by hydrodistillation (HD)and simultaneous distillation-extraction (SDE)using pentane as solvent, and analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The effectiveness of the simultaneous distillation-extraction technique for the major components of the essential oil of O. micranthum, (E)-methyl cinnamate, carvone, limonene, (Z)-methyl cinnamate and linalool, were determined by varying the amount of the samples extracted. The best results were obtained using until 0.0250mg of the sample.
