Agro waste is a major issue. Cellulose is a type of primary component found in plant cell walls. Oftentimes, cellulose is regarded as one of the most crucial natural resources. It discusses the history, features, application, and structure. Apart from this extraction of cellulose from agro-waste is all covered in this review. Moreover, the chemical composition of cellulose, lignin, hemicellulose, etc. is also discussed in this paper. Whereas the source of raw material and its utilization are mentioned in it. Food additives, paper manufacturing, other chromatography, paints, and explosives are just a few of the applications for cellulose and its derivatives.
