Modified bottle plate for the cultivation of strict anaerobes

<br/><br/> A modified agar bottle plate is described for the cultivation and isolation of strict anaerobes. The design, which has an additional port lor gas intake, permits easier streaking as well as picking of colonies, since no gassing probe is required. ¢¢ith tl~i,~ design, water condensation can be quickly removed and the gas atmosphere can be easily exchanged.
