TI - Thermochemical decomposition of hydrogen sulfide by solar energy N2 - The decomposition of hydrogen sulfide into hydrogen and sulfur using concentrated solar radiation was investigated. The effect of temperature and residence time on hydrogen yield was studied using alumina, nickel-molybdenum sulfide and cobalt molybdenum sulfide as catalysts. It was found that hydrogen yield of 13-14(percent)can be obtained in a very short residence time (0.3 s)and at temperatures less than 800°C. The decomposition mechanism followed a second-order irreversible rate equation UR - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vro19C0pQFq7LAafoh3XChASk-7yIRJF/view?usp=drivesdk ER -
