Power correlation for helical ribbon impellers in inelastic non-Newtonian fluids

<br/><br/> A generalized model has been developed to correlate the power consumption characteristics of the helical ribbon impeller for Newtonian as well as inelastic non-Newtonian fluids. The correlation includes all the relevant geometrical variables. The data available in the literature were used to examine the validity of the correlation for Newtonian and pseudoplastic fluids, and for a wide range of geometrical variables. © 1972.
