The genus Kretzschmaria 

 -  Mycotaxon, 68, p.345-393, 1998 .
<br/><br/> Sixteen species of Kretzschmaria-including taxa formerly considered as Ustulina-are recognized. Kretzschmaria curvirima, K. guyanensis, K. megalospora, K. milleri, and K. zelandica are described as new. Kretzschmaria eriodendri, K. macrosperma, K. neocaledonica are new combinations. Cultural and anamorphic data are provided for some taxa. A key to species and an annotated list of published epithets are included. Three excluded Kretzschmaria taxa are newly combined with Xylaria-X. apoda, X. heliscus, and X. intracolorata.
