A new cytokinin from Populus x robusta 

 -  PhytoChemistry, 14(4), p.1005-1008, 1975 .
<br/><br/> A new cytokinin was isolated from mature leaves of poplar. Its structure was determined by UV and MS and confirmed by synthesis as 9-(o-hydroxybenzylamino)-9-ß-d-ribofuranosylpurine. This cytokinin has medium activity in the soybean callus test but shows high activity in the radish leaf senescence test.
