N2  - The readings were carried out at 663 and 647 nm in the same spectrophotometer previously mentioned. The following formulas were applied (Lichtenthaler and Buschmann, 2001): Data were submitted to analysis of variance and for the variables that presented significant differences, the Scott-Knott test was performed using a significance level of 0.01. Data were processed by ASSISTAT software, version 7.7 Beta ( Silva and Azevedo, 2002).
