The chemical composition of the essential oil from leaves of Croton adenocalyx determined by GC/MS is reported. The major compounds found in the oil were: ?-pinene (30.9 per cent), ?-pinene (13.4 per cent), ?-caryophyllene (12.6 per cent), and ?-elemene (10.6 per cent).
