This chapter focuses on the phytochemistry, structure diversity, biosynthesis, biological activities, and synthesis of dimeric quinones viz., bianthraquinones, binaphthoquinones, dimeric benzoquinones, and mixed-coupled anthraquinone-naphthoquinone molecules. These dimeric quinones were isolated from plants, fungi, marine organisms, alga, and various soils from Japan and Nepal. The literatures till mid-2013 are reviewed and contain 347 references. © 2015 Elsevier B.V.
