Resumen: There lakes in the karsted Maya lowlands show variable injections of rapidly deposite silt, variably insulating lakes from ground water. Carbonate errors, ca. 700 C years in formerly urbanized Yaxha and Sacnab, may average 2000 y in less urbanized Quexil.
