However, in 1956, Van Woter and Karl-Kroupa [l]found indications by means of two-dimensional paper chromatography [2]that phosphates with cyclic anions, i.e. metaphosphates,with more than four PO3 groups per anion, are present in solutions and hydrolysates of Graham's salt. This was confirmed in 1961 by Rudy and Ruj [31.
