The structure of 1 was established by spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analyses. Metabolites 1 and 2 caused significant inhibition of radicle growth of Amaranthus hypochondriacus with IC50 values 6.57 and 3.86 lM, respectively. In addition, 1 inhibited activation of the calmodulin-dependent enzyme cAMP phosphodiesterase (IC50 = 10.2 lM). | |
